--> debian bookworm update of Xfce from 4.18 to 4.20
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)?
* What was the outcome of this action?
--> the old version 0.7.6 of vala-panel-appmenu is no longer compatible
* What outcome did you expect instead?
--> the expand of the space for the menu should work as before
