There we go, guys,
that's what I've been doing the last few days. I changed quite a lot and
in the end, debdiff only shows what should differ, so I hope I've done
everything right.
There's a lot of stuff untested. If you want to, go ahead. Get the
development branch, then do
debian/rules maintfiles
debconf-updatepo
git-dch -aS --ignore-branch
git-buildpackage --git-ignore-{new,branch}
I didn't check in the po stuff yet as it needs review anyways and less
files make less conflicts when rebasing. Speaking of which, that branch
is subject to rebasing on my part if I see faulty commits. I intend to
keep a clean history. After everything is done it can be merged to
master.
Open (untouched) bugs are about the mail stuff. Luca, you've had
opinions about this IIRC. Do you want to touch that in any way? Do we
want to discuss it? Once the current change set is tested and proven to
be working, I'd like to upload it. It's enough changes for one release
already. But I'll happily discuss further action with any of you!
