[pkg-bacula-devel] current bacula package status

Hi!

I test bacula packages from commit 024a68b.
 - installation with piuparts 
 - upgrade from sid with piuparts
 - upgrade from squeeze with piuparts (except bacula-director-mysql and
   bacula-director-pgsql due to problems with database start on
   distupgrade stage).
 - bacula-director-* upgrade from sid and squeeze manual

I didn't test -dbg packages due to it take too much time.


There is a next troubles:

 - bacula-director-sqlite3 installation change permissions
   to /var/lib/bacula
 - Installation bacula-director with other dbtype and then purging old
   package lead to removing bacula-dir.conf



And there is a some TODO for future:

 - fix bugs from debian bugtracker and from ubuntu launchpad.
 - disable lintian warnings about hardening, due to upstream highly
   recommend do not use it (but i can't find link now).
 - try to fix unnecessary library linking and add capabilities(7)
   support.
 - multiarch support (but is it really have any sence? - there
   are no libraries, usable by other packages)
 - upgrade to 5.2.10 (i already make this, but due to wheezy frozen, i
   think, that this is not a subject for upload to sid)
 - switch to ucf (the same, as with 5.2.10)
 - add nagios check package
 - upload webacula to unstable
