Hi Jelmer,
Thanks for the suggestion, I will of course be glad to add this hook
point. I would like to clarify exactly where and when you would like the
hook to be run. It sounds to me as though this is to do with the
export-upstream functionality. I think you would like the hook to run
when the upstream code has been exported, in a directory containing this
code, so that the changes that are made are contained within the
.orig.tar.gz, is that correct?
This is a valid request, however currently the code uses bzr's ability
to export to a .tar.gz directly, so the code is never uncompressed on
disk. It shouldn't be difficult to change it so that the hook is
possible.
