Dear Maintainer,
When running "bzr builddeb" it fails to build the package with the 
error:
dpkg-source: error: aborting due to unexpected upstream changes, see 
[...]
Full log is attached.

I think dpkg-dev is the cause, with this related changelog message for
version 1.16.1:

>  * With source format 2.0 and 3.0 (quilt), dpkg-source now fails by
