Hi Jelmer,
I'd be happy to become an uploader for the bzr package going forward.
Ideally I would like to have a co-maintainer or two. Just to be clear,
will you still be maintaining it in Ubuntu? If not, Ubuntu still
obviously will have a strong interest in keeping it well maintained. I
imagine that I will be able to find another Ubuntu Developer to join
me in co-maintenance.
Either way, I think for Jessie we should consider a less aggressive
pace in regards to following upstream releases, perhaps staging betas
in experimental before uploading to unstable in order to give plugins
time to catch up.
I've noticed that someone has ITAed a few of the plugins you have
orphaned. Maybe we can get some new blood into the team. Hopefully by
the time that wheezy is released I will be a DD and be able to take on
the responsibility of sponsoring uploads.
