Package: bzr
Version: 2.7.0+bzr6622-2
Severity: normal
I noticed warnings from update-alternatives when installing your
package:
,----
| # LANG=C aptitude reinstall bzr
| The following packages will be REINSTALLED:
| bzr
| 0 packages upgraded, 0 newly installed, 1 reinstalled, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
| Need to get 0 B/55.7 kB of archives. After unpacking 0 B will be used.
| (Reading database ... 227607 files and directories currently installed.)
| Preparing to unpack .../bzr_2.7.0+bzr6622-2_all.deb ...
| Unpacking bzr (2.7.0+bzr6622-2) over (2.7.0+bzr6622-2) ...
| Setting up bzr (2.7.0+bzr6622-2) ...
| update-alternatives: warning: forcing reinstallation of alternative /usr/bin/bzr.bzr because link group bzr is broken
| update-alternatives: warning: not replacing /usr/share/man/man1/bzr.1.gz with a link
| Processing triggers for man-db (2.7.6.1-2) ...
|
`----
AFAICS the problem is that the bzr package inadvertently still contains
/usr/share/man/man1/bzr.1.gz. Removing debian/bzr.manpages from the
source package should stop dh_installman from including it. :-)
