Boinc-manager create an entry in the gnome menu but miss its icon in this entry. 
boincmgr -s seems also doesn't work: 
init_poll: get_socket_error(): 111

Hi,
and thanks for the report. I didn't know that there are command line options for boincmgr.
The missing icon was already fixed in our SVN repository and it will be available with the next Debian release of BOINC. The not working -s/--systray option will hopefully fixed by upstream in the upcoming BOINC 5.x.y release.
