Boinc-client not installable on a Debian sarge

You have to install lsb-base from http://www.backports.org first. And instead 
of adding these lines to your /etc/apt/sources.list file:

deb     http://pkg-boinc.alioth.debian.org/debian sarge-backports main
deb-src http://pkg-boinc.alioth.debian.org/debian sarge-backports main

I recommend to add the ones for backports.org instead:

deb     http://www.backports.org/debian/ sarge-backports main contrib non-free
deb-src http://www.backports.org/debian/ sarge-backports main contrib non-free

All BOINC backports are also uploaded to backports.org.
