Summary: Client starts directly after installation
Initial Comment:
Hello,
I just tried the binary and it works smoothly. Many thanks, Frank!
What irritated me is that the client was started right after installation. Maybe that is not such a good idea since in particular for a first installation some manual work needs to be done, still. For an update, with some account xml files alreay existing, though I agree that one can probably run it rightaway.
Many greetings
Steffen

There wasn't any discussion about this issue, but also nobody complained about it for nearly one year. I just think that this is the easiest setting for inexperienced users. They just install boinc-client and boinc-manager and can immediately start controlling the client with the manager. Therefore I'm closing this request now.
Grüße,
Frank
