The slots/ directory and the files stderrdae.txt, stdoutdae.old and 
stdoutdae.txt are missing. Do you have these files still around?

It would be interesting to see if the BOINC client crashes when you attach to 
Einstein at Home in your new BOINC data directory. If you want to be on the safe 
side, you should backup your BOINC data directory before attaching to 
Einstein at Home.
