Hi, I do not consider it is useless without a project client since I am using
it without a Debian project client on too many machines already - but this
admittedly is for Intel.

The boinc people have recently added an example project, both server and
client side, especially for the training of local developers. Please consider
to work on a Debianisation of that http://boinc.berkeley.edu/source_code.php

Cheers,

Steffen
