Package: boinc-client
Version: 5.4.11-4
Severity: normal
I'm running boinc-client on my amd64 machine, and here's what happens
when I start it and try to attach to a project that does support
natively the x86_64 platform:
2007-01-18 16:56:28 [---] Starting BOINC client version 5.4.11 for
x86_64-pc-linux-gnu
2007-01-18 16:56:28 [---] libcurl/7.15.5 OpenSSL/0.9.8c zlib/1.2.3
libidn/0.6.5
2007-01-18 16:56:28 [---] Data directory: /var/lib/boinc-client
2007-01-18 16:56:28 [---] Processor: 2 GenuineIntel Intel(R) Core(TM)2
CPU 6300 @ 1.86GHz
[snip]
2007-01-18 16:59:21 [http://boinc.bio.wzw.tum.de/boincsimap/] Scheduler
request
succeeded
2007-01-18 16:59:21 [boincsimap] Message from server: platform '' not found
I tried with various projects, they never get the 'x86_64-pc-linux-gnu'
platform string that they should get from the client, and thus do not
download client app or work units.
