Sounds good. I guess also a fresh install of 5.8.16 won't break anything.
Could you do me another favor please? I've build 5.4.11-5[1] with the same 
bugfix and would like to know if this version breaks anything on upgrade or 
fresh install. I think that this bug is severe enough to let a fixed version 
into etch.
