It seems very nice, I understand it :o) 

What I am missing are kind words in the Debian README about it and on the Wiki 
and finally in the man page. Are you aware of anything in that direction from 
which we could copy or to that we could possibly point?

Frank will know how to deal with your patch. I presume he will ask you to 
commit. I can do some writing, just feed me a bit.
