RFC: Include man pages from Debian into SVN repository?

Hello all,

As a few of you know, the Debian packages boinc-client and boinc-manager
include man pages (traditional Unix style manual pages) for the boinc_client,
boinc_cmd, and boincmgr programs. We (that are Steffen Moeller and I) wrote
them because it is Debian's policy that every binary in /usr/bin/ has an
associated man page. Although the man pages were written for the Debian
packages, there is no reason why they should not be included in the official
BOINC Subversion repository so that others (especially other package
maintainers) could benefit from them too.
So my questions to the BOINC developers is, if it is possible to add these man
pages to your Subversion repository? I am of course willing to maintain and
improve them in the future (and there is a lot room for improvements, they
are in their current state far away from being perfect).

This is just a RFC, the technical details can be discussed later. The source
code of the man pages I am talking about are available here:
http://svn.debian.org/wsvn/pkg-boinc/trunk/boinc/debian/manpages/boinc_client.xml?op=file
http://svn.debian.org/wsvn/pkg-boinc/trunk/boinc/debian/manpages/boinc_cmd.xml?op=file
http://svn.debian.org/wsvn/pkg-boinc/trunk/boinc/debian/manpages/boincmgr.xml?op=file
They are written in DocBook XML and we use docbook2x-man
(http://docbook2x.sourceforge.net) to convert them into
the troff format.

Thanks and regards,
Frank (one of the Debian BOINC maintainers)
