[Bug 288462] [NEW] boinc/setiathome freezes system (Intrepid)

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: boinc-app-seti

My system freezes randomly since I installed boinc, boinc manager, and
boinc-app-seti from the repository.  boinc-app-seti will run for several
minutes, then the system will hang.  All I can do is reboot the system.

Happy to provide whatever info is needed.
