** Description changed:

  Hey,

I'm using Intrepid 64 bit. My system freezes randomly, I identified
  boinc-client (6.2.12-1) or/and boinc-manager (6.2.12-1) to cause this
  problem.

  What happens:
- Very often the load increased very fast and music/ vidoes stops playing (it doesn't matter which program plays the music/video). Sometimes the load decreases and after some minutes the music/video starts going on, but someteimes the system freezes. It also happens that the system freezes without any increase of the load, but I noticed that the music/video only sops playing, if the load increases.

If I recognize that the load increases fast I stop the calculation via the boinc-manager and the load decreases immediately and music/video is going on immediately too.

- I observed, that the project Poem at home causes more freezes than
- Climateprediction at home, but I don't know why.
+ The system hangs often for some seconds too (mostly with no increas of the load) and goes on as normal. The length is not longer then some seconds (mostly 1 or 2 seconds).
+ I thought the freeze could be a long hang, but I can wait for minutes and the system is still freezed.

I am able to provide more information, if needed.
