Package: boinc-client
Version: 6.4.5+dfsg-2
Severity: important

BOINC client seems to ignore input from the mouse. It is and USB
Mouse, and according to the BOINC mailing list, seems to be related to
the kernel not updating a time variable. However, the mail,
which was posted in october 2008, refers to a kernel version 2.6.10 or
less and I have installed 2.6.26.

The severity I gave is important because having the CPU running at
100% on the BOINC application, makes the system laggy and reduces
usability on the whole system and other applications which do not
need keyboard input to work, e.g. browsing or listening to music.

Thanks for your help.
