6.12.8 in experimental

Hello,

I have just completed a "git-buildpackage" of 6.12.8 and am uploading
the bits to experimental. That version is experimental by definition
of upstream, I have already submitted my first  WCG units with it,
though, seems to work, please give it a try if you have issues with
the current version.

What I think we should be doing is to start collecting money to earn us
some trips to Berkeley to fix / discuss with upstream some diverse bits.
If we do not raise that much over the next year, then maybe we can make
it to London for their annual conference there (if that conference does
not move). It is a pity that Alioth (other than sourceforge.net) does
not offer a collection button. If there is no particular objection from
your side, then I would start a respective project on "flattr.com".

The server package needs some more care. It would certainly be lovely
to have something functional on the server side until there is another
stable upstream release. But I would not want to bet on it. The only
active development stream in git now seems to be master branch. I would
like to remove the others - again, only if you don't object.
