This is really another bug, this is a bug about a missing library, and I
think Steffen would provide a more accurare reply to you.

In the meanwhile I can suggest you to try my ppa [1] or paste here the result of command
ls -l /usr/lib/libboinc_api.so

I think during the upgrade the symlink hasn't been updated to
/usr/lib/libboinc_api.so.7
