According to Comment 30 here
(https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/boinc/+bug/1009536/comments/30),
this was uploaded into Precise-proposed. To the best of my knowledge,
from there, it has to be tested and reviewed, before being included in
Precise.
After poking both the release team and a few other sections of the
Ubuntu IRC channels I found out that precise-updates (where this fix
would likely end up) is frozen until post-12.04.1 release, so I would
not expect a *quick* release-fix on this. The "Fix Released" status
identifies that this exists in precise-proposed (per the first line of
the changelog that was posted automatically in comment 30).
