It seems like they are created in boinc-client.postinst. Hm. The location of those
links depends on some configuration parameter. It is not as easy as to create
a boinc-client.links file, I presume. Prior to the removal of the package one
would need to investigate how the package is configured and then act based on that
information - and the original files may still have been left. But it would
render piuparts happy.

The RFH is out. Help is welcome. And needed. Could you possibly help with a fix
yourself, Andreas?

Many thanks and regards,

Steffen
