Oh, and one more weird thing I found. The 12.04 repository version of
BOINC 7.0.24(etc) is installing the BOINC data in two locations...

It installs it in /var/lib/... as I understand is the norm for the
Ubuntu repo version. But it also installs doubles directly in the
home/user folder which I found odd.
