Hi,

I am enquiring with two purposes.  The first and most pressing is that
I am having problems with boinc-client 7.6 that I am not having with
7.4.  Based on the nature of the problems I've been having (on all three
machines that tried to run 7.6), my first guess is that it has been
compiled without the --disable-server switch, but as I know next to
nothing, it is a guess.  The problems go away when I downgrade 7.6 to
7.4.  Does this make sense?
The second purpose is that I would like to help out with the
maintenance of this package, but I have no experience of doing this.
If you would be willing to invest some of your time in showing me the
ropes, I would repay that by taking a bit of work off your hands.  I
have a couple of i5 machines that are used primarily for backups, but
are otherwise under employed and could serve as build machines.
