Dear pkg-boinc-devel team,
I had an issue trying to build the deb packages from the sources.
I tried to do it in both debian and ubuntu systems, the ubuntu18.04
was successful, but the most recent versions failed.
This is the procedure I used:
- - - - - -
1-
$ apt source boinc
2
$ sudo apt build-dep boinc
or
$ su -
# apt build-dep boinc
# exit
3
$ debuild -b -uc -us
or
$ dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot -b
- - - -
Tested environments:
ubuntu 18.04 (boinc 7.9.3) SUCCESS
ubuntu 19.10 (boinc 7.16.3) FAILED
debian 10.2 (boinc 7.14.2) FAILED
debian 10.2 (boinc 7.16.3 experimental) FAILED
- - - - -
all fails reporting:
>> dh_install: boinc-client missing files: lib/systemd/system
>> dh_install: missing files, aborting
in the attached file you can see the report from the debian failed session.
Please let me know if you need further information or should the packages
be built in a different way.
Best regards
Luigi Brambilla
