Yes. I added it in the DEP3 header:
https://github.com/Cacti/cacti/pull/6568. It was already merged, but I
am unsure when this will be released.

FWIW, we discussed this transition with Ondrej offline and AFAIU he will
skip 8.5 and do 8.6 later to avoid generating extra work for PHP reverse
dependencies maintainers. That is why I filed this as wishlist. Let me
know if there is a better way to do this since I will be doing it for
other packages as well (e.g., forward all fixes to upstream only for
now to avoid the extra noise).
