Hy, 

Do we have any control over which berkeley db we're linked against?

as, we recommend the db4.6-util, but just build depend on libbdb-dev 

The util package is bound to the version of the db creator (citadel in that
case though)

Thus we need to make shure they're the same. else we will drive our users in
misary and pain...
