If you don't think that this bug report is accurate then feel free to close
it.
And which warning do you mean? It is quite common since libpng links to it and
many programs which links to zlib too - take for example alevt[1]. At the end
in both ways it would end in DT_NEEDED of the executable and the checks cannot
find the difference if you linked it with -lz or using -lpng.
What parts of the wiki entry should be extended? Have you some special
questions?
