Justification: renders package unusable

clamav-daemon stopped working after the latest update.
"sudo /etc/init.d/clamav-daemon start" outputs:
Starting ClamAV daemon: clamd /etc/init.d/clamav-daemon: line 240: 14946 Segmentation fault      start-stop-daemon --start -o -c 
$User --exec $DAEMON
 failed!

The following line appears in syslog:
