Thanks.  That helps a lot.

For the moment I've published it built on the Ubuntu developmental release to:

https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-clamav/+archive/ppa

In Ubuntu we'll use that repository to test rdepends and if we get those 
sorted, then look at getting it into our next release (we're rather late in 
the cycle, but I'd really like to avoid releasing with an obsolete clamav).

In general, things will build roughly the same there as on Unstable.  If any 
Debian person wants access to upload packages there, I'll be glad to add 
them.  It does require you have a Launchpad account (sorry).

We also track rdepends testing at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MOTU/Clamav

In my experience, when updating to a new clamav, both Debian and Ubuntu need 
the same changes, so it makes sense to cooperate as much as we can.
