On a related note: Has anybody already mailed to debian-release about our plans?
I guess getting 0.96 (at least) into squeeze should be a definitive goal. We'd
need to check with current rdeps to make sure we don't add yet another terrible
transition late in the release process.

I could do that if I get some ACK, most probably from Stephen?
