So, what are we doing with volatile in general?  I understand you'd
prefer not to keep using that mechanism for squeeze?  I haven't heard
any mention on this list, so it might be useful to outline what you
(as RM and volatile admin) would like to see from us.  Once we know a
bit more what that is, we'll probably be more inclined to 'bother'.
