The bugzilla says that they want to evaluate it for 0.99. However I
don't know how that works because they could do a few 0.98 based
released and not look into at all for the next few months…

That is what I assumed. My idea is currently to copy the complete
libmspack tar ball into libclamav as is and make sure clamav's configure
script configures invokes libmspack's and links against it in case the
external library isn't available.
