OK, so I've pushed this now to aca_llvm and reported it upstream [1].
Upstream already scheduled it for 0.98.3.
The LLVM patch is also scheduled for 0.98.3, "if we have time. If not, 
will change for subsequent release."

When do you plan to upload to experimental?
