sudo service clamav-daemon start

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

Tried mirroring working cvds from another machine

LibClamAV Error: cli_loaddbdir: error loading database /var/lib/clamav/daily.cvd

Amavis errors on every inbound email

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

Working clamav, working amavis
