    I am not sure if this is relevant but reinstalling clamav-daemon
    (for the third time) shows the following log file entry:<br>

    LOCAL: No local AF_UNIX SOCK_STREAM socket received from systemd<br>
    <br>
    Looking at this report:<br>

    <br>
    suggests that /etc/systemd/system/clamav-daemon.socket.d/extend.conf
    should contain:<br>
    <br>

ListenStream=127.0.0.1:3310

Mine contains:

[Socket]
ListenStream=
SocketUser=clamav
ListenStream=127.0.0.1:3310

Which seems similar enough.
