[Pkg-cmake-team] Interested in Joining Debian CMake Team

Hello all,

CMake upstream maintainer here. For the past few months, I have been
providing Kitware-supported Ubuntu builds of CMake at https://apt.kitwa
re.com/ (source code is at https://gitlab.kitware.com/debian/cmake). I
would like to eventually do some more packaging for Debian proper, and
give this experience, I think that packaging CMake itself would be a
good place for me to start. Ideally, I would like for this to become a
part of our standard release process - in addition to building the
binaries that get uploaded to https://cmake.org/download, I would also
provide builds for Debian Unstable, preferrably on the day of release.
(If possible, I would like to also upload release candidates to
Experimental.) Would you guys be interested in having someone from
upstream assist in the packaging process?
