Brilliant, you are definitely someone we've been waiting for for a
_long_ time :)
Most of those apps are conversion apps x2y
vpl is verse per line format
osis is the OSIS XML format
mod is a 'module' managed by sword
imp is the import format
There is a lot of information about all that on
http://www.crosswire.org/wiki/DevTools:Modules
installmgr is the very useful command line module installer
And there are people to help on sword-devel if you have any other questions
