[Pkg-crosswire-devel] Section: debug generates lintian warning

I *nearly* have SWORD 1.6.0 ready for Debian upload. I think!
A few days ago I noticed that we were generating a new lintian warning
about an invalid section debug. I traced it to the new -dbg package
stuff Dmitrij has been working on, and I got rid of it by changing the
section back to libdevel.
Now that has been undone in our main branch, and so once more our
packages generate a lintian warning.
Is this a Ubuntu-specific thing, the use of a "debug" section? I see no
such section in the Debian policy (which is why I removed it earlier).
http://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-archive.html#s-subsections
doesn't seem to have it, and nor does the version installed in Ubuntu
Anyway, it's late and I'm now slightly confused by this... so I can't
submit a SWORD package for Debian unstable tonight. We need a
lintian-clean (in Debian unstable) package in order to do that.
