[Pkg-crosswire-devel] Packages for JSword

Hi,

I'm writing Datasoul [1], a Java open source application for projection of
songs and bible texts in churches that uses jsword library to handle
bible texts.

In some point in the future (probably when my next stable version get
ready) I would like to include my application in Debian/Ubuntu
repositories, so I would need to have jsword packaged as well.

Did anybody try to package Jsword?

If I package it, would anybody here be interested in mentoring/sponsoring
the package, as I'm not a Debian Developer?
