Hi Dominique,
The best way depends on the state and potential impact of the patches.
If the patches are limite in scope, uncontroversial, and not likely to
cause bugs/problems, then I would say that you integrate them. Feel
free to prepare a package update that includes your patches and then you
can request review and sponsorship via the mailing list.
You should have write permissions to the project Git repositories. If
for some reason you do not, please let me know and I will grant you the
necessary permissions.
