It is great that the upstream source is there.
Upstream produces the data in the "mods.d" folder and in the "modules"
folder.

I guess that for Debian packaging, there's also a need for a build system
that converts the raw XML files from upstream to the data in the mods.d and
the modules folders? Correct?
