[pkg-crosswire-devel] Bug#1017083: Path forward

If a package like libjs-quill was created, this package would have to go
through the NEW queue before it would be accepted in the Debian archives.
Earlier packages in this queue always took considerable time before they
were reviewed and accepted. Based on earlier experience with new packages
in Debian, I would expect that this Bibledit package will long have been
removed automatically from testing. So although creating libjs-quill would
be the right thing to do, I am inclined to take the quicker route this time
around, and just satisfy the bug report, and that's it. Satisfying the bug
report is, as the bug states, to include the source code that leads to the
minified Javascript. That looks a reasonable approach just now, and
something that can be done in time before Bibledit is removed from the
testing distribution.

At the same time it looks wise to me if someone files a bug that
libjs-quill would need to be packaged. Then if libjs-quill is available,
Bibledit could eventually switch to using this new package.

But this is something for the longer term. It's not a short-term solution
to this bug report.
