[Pkg-cryptsetup-devel] Bug#342079: cryptsetup: Should check swap
partition type

Package: cryptsetup
Version: 20050111-4
Severity: normal
The /etc/init.d/cryptdisks script should check that a (x86) hard disk
partition device is marked as a swap partition in the partition table
before running mkswap on it. This is to avoid overwriting useful data
in case the hard disks get swapped and crypttab does not get modified
prior to this or disabled on the next boot. (Not to mention that with
all the let's-map-everything-to-SCSI insanity going on, the HD device
names are unpredictable.)
