[Pkg-cryptsetup-devel] debian/hack

hello,

what is the debian/hack script for? it is not installed in the
cryptsetup package, not used in the build process, and it does rather
nothing than printing one of three lines ("1.2.0", "1" and
"/usr/lib/libgcrypt.a /usr/lib/libgpg-error.a"), depending on the
command-line option.

i cannot believe that we need it, but i'dd be interested in how it found
it's way into the debian package, and what it was intended for.
