i'll do this within the next days. at least the huge option parsing
function and hopefully many more code can be moved to an include file.

i'll put the include in /lib/cryptsetup, and i'll re-merge prechecks and
postchecks subdirectories to one checks subdir while i'm at it.
it is unlikely that we will ever have a precheck and a postcheck where
the same name would be appropriative.

i've just implemented this, but not tested running it twice in the boot
process yet.

btw. would be great if you could take a look at the package. i've just
included the timeout patch and done some other changes.
