still there was a widely used cryptsetup-luks package at the unofficial
repository by Michael Gebethsroiter: http://einsteinmg.dyndns.org/debian

i believe that a save upgrade path even for this unofficial debian
package is useful, but if you reject the upload for that reason, i've no
other possibility than uploading 2:1.0.1-12 without the dummy
cryptsetup-luks package.

please tell us (the maintainer team), whether you will continue to
reject uploads with a dumy cryptsetup-luks package.
