hello,

i would like you to give cryptsetup 1.0.3-3 (current svn snapshot) a
try. especially the whole checksystem has been slightly reordered.

i tried to fix/workaround all the remaining problems with the
checksystem, and i hope that his one finally catches all the corner
cases.

if i don't hear any objections until tomorrow, i'll upload it.

i plan to simplify the checksystem soon while keeping it's
functionality. i don't like the idea of getting the current
implementation into etch. it would be better to develop something more
obvious and easy before the release of etch. but we'll see.
