great, new packages prepared. cryptsetup 1.0.3-2 available at
http://people.debian.org/~mejo/cryptsetup/ please give them a try,
Tobias, and report whether they fixed your bug.

ps: the packages have also a new vol_id check script to check for any
    known filesystem types.
